# How to Bridge ELON from Solana to Ethereum

> Use the Portal Bridge to move Wrapped ELON (wELON) from Solana back to Ethereum.

  Reminders

  * Connect a compatible **Solana wallet** (e.g., Phantom).
  * Ensure your **Ethereum wallet** (e.g., MetaMask) has a small amount of ETH for gas.

## Step 1  — Access the Bridge Interface

1. Visit the [**Portal Bridge**](https://portalbridge.com/advanced-tools/#/transfer).
2. Set **SOURCE** to `Solana`.
3. Set **TARGET** to `Ethereum`.
4. Connect your Solana wallet when prompted.

## Step 2  — Select the Token

1. Click **Select a Token**.
2. Paste the Dogelon (Wormhole) token address:\
   `5rbdQELcDxwJVEAUppvabrLWnpo1FUea3vZAh1a5X4NU`
3. Enter the amount of wELON you want to bridge.
4. Click **Next**.

## Step 3  — Prepare Your Ethereum Wallet

1. Connect your Ethereum wallet (e.g., MetaMask).
2. Ensure **Manual Payment** is selected.
3. If prompted, choose **Create associated token account**.
4. Click **Next** to continue.

## Step 4  — Initiate the Transfer

1. Click **Transfer**.
2. Confirm all wallet pop-ups to authorize the transaction.
3. Wait for bridge confirmations (may take up to an hour).

  Please keep the bridge page open until the transfer completes to avoid issues.

## Step 5  — Redeem on Ethereum

1. After the bridge process finishes, click **Redeem**.
2. Approve the required transactions in MetaMask.
3. Your bridged \$ELON will appear in your Ethereum wallet once all approvals are complete.

  * **Transactions are irreversible** — double-check every detail before confirming.
