# How to Bridge ELON from Ethereum to Solana

> Follow these steps to bridge Wrapped ELON (wELON) from Ethereum to the Solana network using the Portal Bridge.

## Prerequisites

  Reminders

  * Make sure your Ethereum wallet (e.g., MetaMask) is connected.
  * Your Solana wallet (e.g., Phantom) must have a small amount of SOL to pay for transaction fees.

## Step 1: Access the Bridge Interface

1. Visit the [Portal Bridge](https://portalbridge.com/advanced-tools/#/transfer).
2. In the **SOURCE** field, select `Ethereum`.
3. In the **TARGET** field, select `Solana`.
4. Connect your Ethereum wallet when prompted.

## Step 2: Token Details

1. Click **Select a Token**.
2. Paste the Wrapped ELON contract address:\
   `0x9EFe7414D991769282b8c27bb2E53B7a34F60Bc2`
3. Enter the amount of wELON you want to bridge.
4. Click **Next** to proceed.

## Step 3: Prepare Your Solana Wallet

1. Connect your Solana wallet (e.g., Phantom).
2. Ensure **Manual Payment** is selected.
3. If prompted, choose **Create associated token account**.
4. Click **Next** to continue.

## Step 4: Initiate the Transfer

1. Review the bridge summary and approve the token transfer in your Ethereum wallet.
2. Confirm any wallet pop-ups to authorize the transaction.
3. Click **Transfer** to start the bridging process.
4. Review the confirmation modal and finalize the transaction.
5. Wait for the bridging process to complete — this may take up to an hour.

  Stay on the bridge page until the transfer is complete to avoid any issues.

## Step 5: Redeem on Solana

1. Once the bridge process is complete, click **Redeem**.
2. Approve the required transactions in your Phantom Wallet.
3. After approval, the bridged \$ELON will appear in your Solana wallet.
